Defending the Stand

We don’t stand for the anthem to honor our veterans. That’s just so much tear jerking pandering to an emotional argument.

We stand for the anthem as we pledge our allegiance to our flag and country just as we require new citizens do when they take the oath of citizenship.

To protest by kneeling, or any other demonstration, is to disavow this oath which is implied at birth by every born American.

We, as citizens, are all pledged to defend our Country and Constitution against all foes, foreign or domestic. Those foes include those who disavow their allegiance to the flag by kneeling in disrespect. Thus, it is not a matter of a Constitutional right of free speech, but a matter of a Constitutional duty and obligation of citizenship.
